CHICAGO, IL – The Special Service Area #61 Hyde Park has released another $20,000 in reallocated budget funds to support business owners in the SSA’s geographic footprint.  The funds are available through the Reopen, Rebate, Reboot: Special Service Area #61 Sanitation Rebate Program.

Eligible expenses for the rebate program will still include personal protective equipment (PPE), cleaning supplies and ancillary sanitation supplies.  Eligible businesses in the SSA’s footprint can submit receipts for any of these expenses incurred since March 15, 2020.  Each business can receive a one-time rebate of up to $300 dollars.

Businesses that did not apply or receive a rebate in 2020 will take precedence over those who have received rebates already.

The SSA will start accepting rebate applications on, February 1, 2021 and will continue until June 15, 2021 or when designated funds are exhausted.
