Special Service Area #61 Commissioners successfully addressed a wide variety of district concerns throughout the year.  Significant topics included:

• City of Chicago pandemic safety guidance changes
• Returning to customer attraction events and activations in the district
• SSA Program Manager and Commissioner changes
• Budget modifications and spending carryover from 2020
• Delays in receipt of tax levy funds due to County computer upgrades
• Consolidation and redevelopment of website communications
• Business turnover including closures and new additions in the district
• Viaduct renovations and lighting projects
• Beginning SSA61 reconstitution efforts with formation of formal committee and hiring a consultant
