Downtown Hyde Park Chicago (SSA#61) invites you to shop local and shop small through December 31, 2020.

Supported by Bank of America, PNC Bank and Hyde Park Bank, South East Chicago Commission’s 2020 Shop Local campaign is a collaboration with the 51st Street Business Association, Downtown Hyde Park Chicago (SSA #61), Hyde Park Chamber of Commerce, Quad Communities Development Corporation (QCDC), and Washington Park Chamber of Commerce.

There are 13 participating businesses located in the SSA#61 footprint.

When you make a purchase of $15.00 or more at one of the participating businesses, simply register your receipt for a chance to win one of the weekly Southside Shopping Spree drawings.

Please think of Hyde Park businesses first for holiday gifts and daily necessities.  It is essential to support our local Hyde Park businesses, especially through the struggle and restrictions of COVID-19.

Shopping locally at small businesses in our neighborhoods (1) helps maintain the diversity of stores on the mid-south side, (2) builds strong neighborhoods, (3) creates jobs, (4) provides funds for more City services through sales tax, and (5) promotes community development.
