For more than 10 years the Committee has also been responsible for offering business marketing workshops, arranging safety seminars, and curating various events including the Celebrate Hyde Park festivals.
Recently the Committee collaborated on the SouthSideChicagoJobs.com platform to address the employment needs of the community and the need for talent pooling for the business district.
The Hyde Park Vitality Committee is led by the South East Chicago Commission to convene leaders from Special Service Area #61, Hyde Park Chamber of Commerce, Nichols Park Advisory Council, McCaffrey Interests, and UChicago Commercial Real Estate Operations (CREO). The Vitality Committee also receivesprofessional consultation from CEI Media Group.
