2023 Hyde Park Holly-Day

Local holiday tradition Hyde Park Holly-Day is back for its sixth year, scheduled for Saturday, December 2, 2023.

Sponsored by the University of Chicago and hosted by Jenny LeFlore – Mama Fresh Chicago, Hyde Park Holly-Day is a beautiful celebration of holiday spirit. Enjoy FREE family activities throughout Hyde Park including an ice carving demo, self-guided ice sculpture stroll, pictures with Soul Santa & Mrs. Claus, holiday crafts, costumed character meet and greets, dance performances by the Hyde Park School of Dance and Kenwood School of Ballet, Buddy the Elf, and even two live reindeer with a sleigh!

Spend the day in downtown Hyde Park and enjoy a full schedule of fun, free family activities sponsored by the University of Chicago in partnership with Downtown Hyde Park, the Hyde Park Chamber of Commerce, and the South East Chicago Commission.
