DESCRIPTION:  \nCelebrate the 4th of July in Chicago’s Hyde Park neighborhood.  This beloved local tradition has been celebrated for 30+ years and never disappoints! \nThe parade kicks off at 11 a.m. with marching bands\, floats\, community groups\, and kids on decorated bikes.  The parade marches through Downtown Hyde Park #SSA61 and finishes up at Nichols Park.  Route Map.  After the parade\, the festival from 12-3 p.m. featuring performances\, games\, bouncy houses\, face painting\, petting zoo\, magician\, and more!
